In 2006 Kennedys established its Sydney office in response to the needs of both our global and Australian clients. We are a specialist insurance and litigation law firm with a strong client base of industry leaders, including:

• Australian and international insurers and reinsurers
• Leading corporate entities within the Asia Pacific region, such as major construction companies, private healthcare facilities and national sporting bodies

The Sydney office comprises in excess of 24 professional staff including 10 partners, all with a wealth of top-tier private practice and in-house experience across a range of domestic and international firms.

We are renowned for our expertise in litigation and dispute resolution in the areas of insurance/reinsurance, construction, healthcare, sport, media, employment and financial services.

Our lawyers are also highly sought after for their specialist legal knowledge in relation to commercial agreements, financial services and trade practices legislation, regulatory matters and major front end insurance issues.

Kennedys comprises of over 800 people globally. The Sydney office is one of four in the Asia-Pacific region, with offices also located in Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore.  In addition to our presence in Asia-Pacific we also have offices located in the United Kingdom (Birmingham, London, Chelmsford, Cambridge, Maidstone, Manchester, Taunton and Belfast); Spain (Madrid) and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). We have an active network of associated offices around the world situated in Dubai, Dublin, Karachi, Lisbon, Mumbai, New Dehli, Paris, Santiago and Warsaw.
